I would pick BMW as it's more stable and stronger. For a long-term bet I would also pick VW. Because if they can transition successfully they can become a huge player again and their stocks can go up. Maybe you remember 2006? When no one was betting on VW and then their stocks were up to 40.000 ☺️

If they transition successfully, like you said, I feel we could see at least a 3x valuation and consequently stock price. But that's a big IF. Also, remember DIESELGATE in 2015, I believe, that sent the VW stock straight to the pit.

That's by far true, at the moment it also doesn't look as if the German government is supporting EV vehicles that much. They are more backwards unfortunately 😔

I feel like the European and worlds geopolitical end economic agenda is quite busy at the moment with everything that’s been going on: from Ucraine, to Gaza, to Trump’s tariffs etc. Hopefully we will tackle all these issues and not forget about the long term goals for our wellbeing. I would pick BMW. The brand is strong and the cars have good quality. I believe BMW will keep its position.
